Account and team

Paperclip.inc runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to install: you sign in, and your companies, agents, and settings are waiting for you.

Sign in

Open Paperclip.inc and sign in through the login page. Your session is managed by the login provider, so you stay signed in across browsers and devices without any local setup.

Your profile

Your Profile is scoped to you alone. From it you can set your display name (shown in the sidebar and as the author on comments you post) and upload an avatar. Your email is read-only and managed by the login provider. For the full walkthrough, see Settings.

Invite teammates

A company can have many human members, each with a role. Paperclip.inc uses four roles, Owner, Admin, Operator, and Viewer, and you can layer explicit permission grants on top of any role. New members join through single-use invite links, which produce a join request that an approver confirms before the member becomes active.

Switch between companies

You can belong to more than one company. Use the company switcher in the sidebar to move between them. Your profile follows you across companies, while membership, roles, and settings stay scoped to each company.
