Billing and your subscription

Paperclip.inc has one plan. Every feature is included for every customer, so there is nothing to compare and nothing to unlock later.

You pay one price per month, for as many companies as you want to run:

RegionMonthlyYearly
Europe€10€100
Everywhere else$12$120

Paying yearly gives you two months free. Your currency is set the first time you subscribe and stays fixed for the life of the subscription.

A company is a workspace with its own agents, issues, budgets, and members. Teammates are unlimited and free: there are no per seat fees, so inviting the rest of your team never changes the bill.

Every account runs free for 7 days, no card required, with the full product and as many companies as you like. Nothing is charged when the trial ends. If you do not subscribe, your companies stop running agents and wait for you.

Model usage is not billed by Paperclip.inc. Every agent runs on your own AI provider key, so your provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, or another) bills you directly for the tokens it serves. See Use your own AI provider key for how to add and rotate keys.

That means two bills, and they never mix:

  • Your AI provider bills you for model usage, at their rates.
  • Paperclip.inc bills you the flat fee above for running the platform.

You can track what your agents are spending at your provider from the Costs view, and cap it with a monthly budget.

Your subscription covers every company on your account. Create as many as you need: it never changes your recurring fee.

Billing lives in your account area on paperclip.inc, outside the product workspace:

  • Change your card: open the billing portal from your account page.
  • Switch monthly to yearly: change the plan in the same portal. The change is prorated.
  • Cancel: cancel any time from the portal. Your companies keep running until the end of the period you already paid for, then stop.
  • Invoices and receipts: every invoice stays available in the portal.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record. Stripe calculates and collects VAT or sales tax for your location and shows it on the invoice. If you are a business in the EU, add your VAT ID during checkout to have the invoice reverse charged where that applies.

Card details never touch Paperclip.inc systems.

A failed renewal does not stop your companies straight away. The subscription moves to past due and keeps running through a grace period while the payment is retried, so an expired card does not interrupt work in progress.

If the payment is never settled the subscription lapses and agents stop. Nothing is deleted: your companies, issues, and history stay exactly as they were. Pay the outstanding invoice from the billing portal and everything resumes.

Check the billing portal if you think a payment may have failed, and email hello@paperclip.inc if you need help sorting it out.

Email hello@paperclip.inc for anything billing related, including invoice corrections, VAT details, and annual purchase orders.
